Where Individualized Care Meets Results
Meet the Owner
Kelly McCall Knott
I grew up in New York, then moved to North Carolina for college and spent about 25 years there before moving to Woodland Park, Colorado about 10 years ago. My undergraduate degree and doctoral degree were both from The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. I did have about a 15-year gap between those degrees while working as a golf professional and formerly was a collegiate All-American golfer at UNC. While working as a PT I have worked in the acute care and ICU, home health and outpatient settings. Throughout my PT career I have taken extensive continuing education including management of vestibular dysfunction, concussion, stroke and for the last five years my primary education has been based in pelvic floor therapy-incontinence, constipation, pregnancy, postpartum, prolapse, pelvic pain. I would consider myself a lifetime learner and desire to continue to grow my knowledge to keep up to date with the most recent research to provide my patient’s optimal care. I never pictured myself as a business owner, however with the ever-changing world of insurance-based patient care, I have been continually disappointed by insurance dictating how, when and for how long I can see my patients. I wanted a better model that allowed me to care for my patients in the way my education and experience have taught me, and that was putting the patient first. Outside of work I am a wife and a mother to my amazing daughter. I enjoy running, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, skiing, camping and all things Colorado. I am EMT certified and volunteer with Teller County Search and Rescue and the Honor Flight of Southern Colorado as a medical liaison.
